Aerobic training is the best form of exercise to burn fat above resistance training and body building, according to a study by researchers at the Medical Center at Duke University (USA), comparing aerobic training, resistance training and a combination of both and the results published on Saturday " Journal of Applied Physiology . "The researchers looked at 234 overweight or obese adults who were randomly assigned to one of three training groups: strength (three days a week of weight lifting, three sets per day, 8-12 repetitions per set) aerobic (about 12 miles per week) and a combination of both (three days a week, three per day, 8-12 repetitions per set for endurance training and about 12 miles per week of aerobic exercise).
